Consumer Experts Wanted: Tech, Travel, Stores, Scams, Credit Cards/Financial, Cars, Gaming, Smartphones and More

An approved Google News and Bing News source that offers our contributors up to a 70% revenue share using Google AdSense.

Yes – a 70% revenue share!

This is the way it works:

If you can consistently write timely, useful, original, interesting, shareable, well seo’d, newsy and informative posts for consumers and product fans, you’ll do great when it comes to making money with your stories. You’ll earn much more than you would getting a flat fee.

If you don’t do those things, you won’t make much.

The key is to be able to anticipate what consumers will be searching for, and when, then respond to their wants and needs.

If you are a consumer expert, know how to write for the web, know how to connect to your readers so they feel like you are talking to them, and already have an AdSense account, you are way ahead of the game!

If you are a consumer expert and a great writer, but lack experience and an AdSense account – you’ll have a lot to learn. We’ll help get you up to speed as quickly as possible, but it does take some time and practice.

We have lots of niche consumer topics you can specialize in, from tv shows to credit cards. Some particular needs we have right now include:

Travel – NOT rewrites of travel brochures about obscure destinations – we need someone that really knows the travel industry. That can write on travel deals, price cuts (or increases), changes in airline/cruise/etc policies, report on travel disruptions (what’s happening, what consumers can do, how to contact carriers, what flights are cancelled, etc), and other news of pressing interest to travelers.

Smartphones – what’s new, what problems consumers are having, changes/updates in monthly plans, smartphone comparisons, smartphone reviews, what carriers are available, new deals, free phones/plans, consumer complaints, new phone/feature rumors, etc. You would really need to be on top of the industry and be able to provide great info for consumers.

Scams/Cons – huge potential here. Report on email/web/real-world scams and cons. We aren’t here to slam real world companies that make a mistake (though we can report and try to get help for consumers when that happens). We want to report and/or investigate real concerns that affect consumers. You need to be pretty darn savvy about scams/cons to tackle this topic.

Credit Cards/Financial/Banking – what’s new, credit card comparisons, what’s good/not-good, new credit offers, credit card scams, security concerns, mortgage news, student loan news, banking issues, oh… and taxes, tax software (deals, comparisons, new programs, etc) and other tax related offers/freebies/help.

Cars – we could use someone who really knows the industry from the standpoint of sales, what’s available, what national sales events are happening, what’s a good deal vs a made-up-deal, the details/fine-print/gotchas in car ads, any car related news a car buyer might be looking up.

Walmart, Target, Stores – what’s going on in stores, what are consumers talking about, searching for, changes in policies, problems, prices, sales, special events, openings/ closings, etc.

Gaming – new releases, deals, controversies, special offers, gameplay, gadgets, consoles, pre-order deals/bonuses, rumors, complaints, comparisons, reviews, and other news related to best selling games and consoles.

These are just a few of the many niche topics that can be written about on News For Shoppers. There’s more, just check out our site.

We are looking for experts though. Contributors that are really tuned in to what’s going on in their topic areas.
